前回、ハイビスカスカメムシを紹介したので肝心の
ハイビスカスを紹介しないわけにはいかないね
とは言っても今さらこのお花は有名すぎて皆さんご存じですよね
沖縄では桜が満開している側でハイビスカスが咲いている
風景は珍しくありません
ちなみにウチナーンチュはハイビスカスを「あかばなぁ」と呼んでます
子供のころ、遊んでいる最中にその辺に咲いている「あかばなぁ」の
蜜を吸って味を楽しんでいました
Since I introduced the Hibiscus Jewel Bug last time, it’s essential to also introduce the hibiscus flower itself.
However, it’s safe to say that this flower is already famous, and most people are familiar with it. In Okinawa, it’s not unusual to see hibiscus blooming while cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
By the way, in the Okinawan dialect, we call hibiscus “akabanaa.” When I was a child, while playing around, I would enjoy the taste of the nectar from the “akabanaa” flowers blooming in the vicinity.
